Situated in the UBC Westbrook Village, the Virtuous Pie location I visited was perfect for a quick dinner after a day in Pacific Spirit Park.
It’s a restaurant I heard about from a couple of my friends; one of them is celiac and the other one can’t have dairy and they kept mentioning this place, so I had to try it.
After ordering at the counter, I sat down at a table and they brought the pizza to me with some sparkling water. Simple but delicious! I usually love cheese, but as all options are vegan at Virtuous Pie, they use their “cashew mozzarella” and I could not tell the difference.
All with hand-crafted ingredients and plenty of options for different dietaries, I believe it is a pizzeria that has much potential to develop all around the city. They also offer ice cream and soft-serve, juices, kombucha on tap and they have a brunch menu. All of it is VEGAN (but you won’t notice) and can be enjoyed to-go, inside or on their patio!
Mmmm!
