The LaLa holds true to its "very, very" concept in many aspects: customers are welcomed with the slogan of a "very, very open door"; they are promised "very, very tasty plants" and the sisters and owners Cecilia and Susanne are also very, very business orientated -- over the past years they have opened eight vegan ice cream stores all over the city (they are called Veganista and if you have time, you should stop by for a scoop as well).
Their latest idea that has come to life is the LaLa. It’s a plant-based superfood bar, inspired by the lifestyle of Los Angeles, a city that both of them claim to love.
You’ll find all kind of bowls, salads, sandwiches, desserts and freshly squeezed juices, not only vegan but also without any sugar. Once you have entered, you might feel like you’ve stepped into the film set of Alice in Wonderland or Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with the walls painted all pink and the staff always smiling.
They are indeed very, very friendly so if you are into vegan and healthy food options, you could definitely pay the LaLa a visit.
