When I am visiting foreign cities I often hear stories about local places or objects which might bring you luck or grant your wishes. And really, who would not want to get some extra luck in their lives by just following some kind of small ritual which would summon up the positive energy.
One of the more common spots of this sort in Vilnius is the lucky "Stebuklas" tile in front of the Cathedral square (you can check out my colleague's review on it here). But if you dig a bit deeper on Vilnius street (yes yes, the city of Vilnius has a Vilnius street) - you can find another great example. A really cheerful and a fun looking bronze sculpture of a belly. The lucky belly! People say that if you rub it you will release all these magic powers that might bring you luck.
Even if you don't believe in miracles like that - touch the sculpture - the least you'll get afterwards is a sincere smile. The belly does have a great sense of humour to win against any negativity.
