MO muziejus is the modern and contemporary art museum, located in the center of Vilnius. Its spectacular building immediately attracts attention. It opened in autumn 2018, therefore the building is completely new and modern.

The museum introduces art works by Lithuanian artists and artists – modernists living in Lithuania. The collection of the museum consists of nearly 5000 artworks.

MO Museum itself is quite a small building, but the spaces are very well laid out, so there is sufficient space. What I like the most is the large stairs outside. If the weather is good, get out on the stairs, make a picnic or have a coffee there!

There are not only exhibitions in the museum, but also various other events. The museum hosts concerts, cinema sessions, theater performances and other activities, so check the museum‘s events list and you will definitely find some interesting activities for you.

There is also a café in the museum – MO bistro. I really like the beautifully decorated wall inside the café! If you have time, enjoy a coffee and dessert there.
