The Portobello pub is one of those places that everybody falls in love with. The thing is that they don't try too hard to impress you, they're just so good at their job of making you feel at home.
The pub is in the heart of Vilnius Old Town, surrounded by churches, the National Philharmonic building and some other great bars and restaurants.
Some call it the only real British pub in town. I wouldn't be so categorical, but it's definitely one of the best ones. They serve around 20 different kinds of beer, they even have their very own patented "Admiral Pint" at 0.66L.Â
Another thing that makes this place so great is that they take food very seriously. Of course, they've added sort of a Lithuanian touch to authentic British food, but that's what makes it so very special and absolutely delightful.
The place is a top choice if you want to watch football or rugby, get some fantastic food with a cold beer on the side, have a fun night out with friends or find new ones.
The Portobello pub has something that makes you wanna stay longer and come back again. You can choose to sit inside and enjoy the high ceiling with all the little details that are so well thought-out or enjoy the huge summer terrace.
Make sure you make reservations on weekends, because the place is always full. I believe that should be enough of a factor to believe it is actually this good.
