This bakery is an absolute staple! You can buy your basic pastries here, like croissants or a pain au chocolat. You can also go for some of their specialties, such as cookies made of nuts or bread filled with feta cheese and spinach.
The owner works really hard and is there every day, seven days a week. He is always really kind, sincere, and in the mood for a good talk. Usually when I come here: the place is filled with regulars, enjoying a coffee and something sweet. The street the bakery is located on can be quite busy. However, if you walk in and see the regulars relaxing, you become relaxed too. It always gives me the feeling of being on vacation.
If you come in, you will see lots of pictures on the wall. Some restaurants hang pictures of famous people on the wall that have visited their place of business. Not this bakery: all the pictures you see are of regular customers that have earned their spot by coming so often, the owner wanted to show his appreciation. So when you are there: have a look, you might see one of the pictures having a croissant right in front of you.
