One thing I enjoy doing is walking around Jordaan’s canals in Amsterdam and contemplating the shop windows and buildings. This is how I came across the Otherist shop in Amsterdam Jordaan.
Its beautiful window immediately caught my attention with its multiple artistic items. After researching, I learned that it offers a selection of items coming from different parts of the world, and as it states on its website seeks to bring this “wow […], the unconventional; the other”, which I did get!
The shop is full of handmade little gems, which can hardly be found anywhere else. Every piece seems so unique and is a perfect gift for a loved one or… as I sometimes do, a gift for yourself, so my advice is to have a look at it.
You can easily combine it with a drink at one of the many bars around, like Divino or Lotti’s.
