When I think of uploading a new article about my dearest places in Athens, I always promise myself not to write about food again. But "Amandine's Bagels" is a good reason to go against that self-promise!
It is really easy to guess what it is all about – bagels of course.
Amandine is a very beautiful girl from France that left her life there and came to Nikis street to make a very small place where you can taste bagels at their best. She has given names to bagels from places around the world like Lisboa!
You have a few choices – οne of my favorites is salmon with avocado and a very special handmade sauce. And also for our vegetarian friends, ask the one with the vegetables! Αnd every single month, they make the specialty of that month.
Last few months I discovered that except the salty bagels you can also taste sweet ones. So how about starting your day with a coffee made by charming Mr. Michalis together with a "peanut butter with marmelade" bagel or an even simpler "cream cheese with honey" one?
Last but not least, another reason to visit Amandine for your coffee is that they have stopped using plastic cups for coffee and replaced them with paper ones.
