When you visit Athens, you will realize that the city is a mixture between the culture of the West and East (and as it is said, Athens is Weast!). My favorite part of the city is related to Eastern habits, such as taking a bath at the hammam.
The best place in Athens to enjoy this is located downtown, close to Thiseio Train Station and it is called "Hammam Baths". There you can enjoy different kinds of hammam, but also different types of massages.
You can check their website and choose from the traditional Hammam, hammam from Marocco or "Ali- Mama" hammam. You can also combine these types with special body treatments like a cleaning of your face and body with honey or with special ingredients from the Red Sea.
When you finish these relaxing Eastern habits, you can spend time at their lounge drinking tea, eating oranges and "loukoumia" while listening to lounge music.
You should reserve your place for hammam and massage a few days in advance.
