Albé means "my heart" and that was the feeling we had when having lunch there! It's defined as a spot that offers the best that Catalunya has together with a genuine Lebanese touch.
As we sat at the table, the very kind people working there made sure we would get to know the essence of the place by explaining to us the meaning of the word as well as some great suggestions from the menu. As we were first-timers, we went exactly as the waiters suggested on the dishes and ordered some great drinks such as Negroni Tonic, Gin Tonic and later a very good bottle of a natural Garnacha wine.
The dishes included patatas bravas, roasted eggplant, octopus with an amazing beetroot sauce, and the best one in my opinion was the Pluma Iberica de Bellota, amazingly tender pork meat with delicious seasoning.
To end this amazing experience, we ordered a chocolate tart with cardamom foam and Azahar caramel - absolutely fantastic. And we were invited for a last round of "chupitos" of grappa!
The place has very beautiful decoration, and we'll be visiting again soon so we can taste the traditional Lebanese menu that they also offer!
