You know that feeling you have when you are walking around a very touristic area and you just think to yourself "I wish I could find a local little spot to get away from all these tourist traps"? This is exactly Bar 7. This hidden bar is located in the heart of Barri Gotic, literally some alleys away from the famous Plaça Real.
Some months ago my friend brought me here and since then it has been one of my favourite spots when I am around the area. Despite its location, it is the kind of place you would pass by and not even notice.
You will find a very laid back and friendly environment here. The drink prices are very reasonable (definitely cheaper than other bars nearby). The place itself is like a little cave. You find the bar as soon as you enter and if you walk further down, there is a room you can enjoy your drink in.
It's got dim lighting, smooth music and friendly staff. If you decide to have a laid back evening by yourself, be sure you will leave having made new friends or at least having shared a conversation with a local or with someone from the other side of the globe!
