One of the best lifesaver foods in the world is Shwarma or Doner Kebab (I could write another article about those variations, but let’s leave it for another time), and Barcelona, as a very touristic destination, could not be different in the number of places serving it. Although I am a huge, huge fan of this kind of meal and could eat in more or less any of them in Barcelona, there is one that really deserves my attention: it is located in Gràcia and can pass unnoticed if you were not recommended to go: Musta Shawarma!
It is family run and open since 2013. After the owner had worked for 7 years in another Syrian restaurant, he decided to open his own! Well done! The place often has lines formed at the door on busy days, mainly of locals that live nearby or even of fans that come from various places of the city. The friendly service is another plus! The father, mother or son are always in a good mood to help you!
Their most ordered plate is the shawarma, which does not cost even one cent more than the regular places, and as you enter, you can see that the meat prepared there is real lamb seasoned at the moment and put on the spit to roast. Really, you shouldn't miss it!
