A wall climbing oasis in the middle of the city, with an extremely good specialty coffee shop and healthy food! Yeah, you read that right. In the beginning of 2021, Block District was opened in Barcelona, along with Café de Finca Extreme coffee shop, a specialty coffee roaster that's well known in the cycling and sports world.
The result of that is an incredible place in which you can go either using the daily pass or get a longer-term deal for a better price. This time I went it was just to get to know the coffee shop, but I will definitely go back to try to climb those walls in there.
As for the coffee shop, everything is brand new and with a lot of yellow on it, as the brand is known for its vivid color. An amazing Victoria Arduino machine and grinder decorate the coffee shop. You can sit there watching people get into trouble trying to climb all those huge walls, and it also has free wi-fi so you can spend some hours working there, too, in the company of perfectly extracted coffee and healthy food from Super Coffee and Food, another awesome nearby restaurant in Poblenou.
Do not miss this great mix of extreme sports and good shots of caffeine.
