Otra Cosa Taberna is another restaurant with good food, natural wine, and artisanal ingredients found in Sant Andreu, a neighbourhood that I'll risk saying will become really trendy in the next few years in Barcelona.
When you look outside, the place looks like those very local and common bars of Barcelona. They have maintained the "vibe" of it, but as you go inside you see everything painted in blue and a neon saying "cuando quieras", or whenever you want. The place is tiny and charming - the all-blue space is decorated with yellow and rose chairs and the marble tables give a very cool vibe inside it. You can also sit at the bar, or by the windows outside. On weekends, go early, because they get full fast.
The food was great: we ordered some guacamole of the gods, a Russian salad that was very fresh, an amazing ceviche, buns (I love it) and an orgasmic "tres leches" desert. All that paired with natural wines by the glass. I was feeling like an orange one and they promptly opened a bottle to serve me a glass.
Together with 035 Bar, Otra Cosa Taberna, and Cyclic Beer (check out my articles!), together they form a great route of natural wine in Sant Andreu.
They also serve weekly menus for 16.70 euros that come with a glass of natural wine!
