At first, when my friend told me she would take me to a breakfast place, I wasn't very convinced. I thought it would be another brunch place and even though I love brunch, I like to stick to a couple of favorites. But my friend insisted on how good it was so I thought "why not?". Well, thank you, Victoria!
This place is called Desayuneria, which in English would be "the breakfast place". Imagine a rainy day (not many rainy days in Barcelona but just imagine it) where everything is gray and you enter in this place with its low colorful lights, the cute decorations on the walls and the amazing smell. For me, it feels almost therapeutic. They only serve breakfast food and what I like about them is that unlike typical brunch places, they do not try to look fancy, instead they are homier. And don't even get me started on the menu. One visit will not be enough because there are so many options. Also, if you go on specific days, you can take advantage of their special promotions like Pancake Tuesdays and Bikini Thursdays.
PS: Just to clarify, by bikini, here we mean the toasted sandwiches and not the items of clothing.
