Recently opened Ozzy shop came as a saviour for my hunger pangs while exploring the downtown. Belgrade’s city centre is packed with either unhealthy fast food options or places that offer a healthy meal while seated. Now I can finally get some fresh, wholesome, delicious and healthy snacks on the go.
Ozzy shop offers an abundance of healthy options: from chickpeas, cashews, pumpkin seeds to specialty gourmet peanuts such as those with mustard or pepper. They are especially proud of their paprika and pizza-flavoured coated peanuts with the smooth, buttery flavour, the satisfying crunch and delectable saltiness.
This is the only snack shop where I can get more than 20 uniquely, flavourfully made nut butters and spreads.
They literally make everything in front of you and bottle it in 150/300g jars. It's easy to indulge, but difficult to decide between Indian smoke (cashew with paprika), brutela (chocolate with hazelnut) or salty almond spread.
The advantage is that all nuts and butters are possible to try before buying.
Ozzy pays homage to classic peanut shops while exploring new territories through collaboration with bars, craft breweries and wineries, where some of the products are also available.
