The Boulangerie Alsemberg is always stacked with bread, but what brings me here are the delicious snacks they sell. Borek, samosas, Moroccan crepes and, of course, a huge array of sweets and cakes. They also have some nice juices and some basic dairy products if you're ever in need. Normally I get one of their round breads and a spinach pastry on my way home.
If you're in Brussels for a little bit longer and want to make your own breakfast/lunch with bread, definitely get a box of their bread on TooGoodToGo. Their surprise package costs 4 euros, and normally, they just ask for your bag and fill it to the brim with all the bread they won't sell anymore. If you are lucky, you will even get some beignes (sugar donuts)! You just pick it up right before closing and everybody is happy that the bread won't go to waste and they still made some money with it.

There's nothing in Brussels like "Le Corbeau". It's a brasserie, a local restaurant/bar, but at night it becomes the opposite of Cinderella's fairytale...

The "Zinneke" in Brussels is a statue of a dog that, to me, is an accurate symbol of my city with so many contrasts, but that likes to laugh about them...

"Bois de La Cambre" is the preferred spot for me on a sunny day in Brussels. There is more to this park than a spot to have a picnic.

"Garcia" in Brussels is the perfect café to have some pasteis de nata, the delicious Portuguese dessert. If I lived in Portugal, I'd be double the weight.
