This tiny art-nouveau eatery is one busy place! However, it has such a turnover that you are rarely turned away. It is not by chance that so many customers go through its doors. The signature dish of Le Perroquet are pittas filled with a huge range of delicious ingredients and served with a variety of sauces. You can choose from various vegetarian, beef, pork, chicken or fish fillings, and you can have your pitta natural or toasted (“pitta-croc”). The pittas of Le Perroquet make for a great snack during the day but even more so in the evening when you want to balance out your beer intake with something nourishing and tasty!
The interior also makes this restaurant stand out. It hails from another period, with rounded art-nouveau decoration and solid-wood tables and chairs. It also has stained-glass panes, one of which depicts, quite unsurprisingly, a parrot.

There's nothing in Brussels like "Le Corbeau". It's a brasserie, a local restaurant/bar, but at night it becomes the opposite of Cinderella's fairytale...

The "Zinneke" in Brussels is a statue of a dog that, to me, is an accurate symbol of my city with so many contrasts, but that likes to laugh about them...

"La Cambre Abbey" is an abbey tucked away in a corner of a small square in Brussels. I'm sure most visitors never notice it. It's a precious gem.

"Bois de La Cambre" is the preferred spot for me on a sunny day in Brussels. There is more to this park than a spot to have a picnic.
