One of my favorite places in Bucharest is Bazaar. I love to come here. As often as I can, sometimes early in the morning, other times late in the evening and I still find it amazing. Mostly, I like it on a Saturday morning when you can listen to good music, enjoy a cup of tea (they have great tea here!) and smile. Life is beautiful!
But also on Thursday, when they have live music. All you need is to have your close friends with you and some good music.
Let me tell you a few words about the food. Because I like to eat here, I can tell you that you should certainly try: the potato soup (it is quite interesting, it has potatoes, coconut syrup, onion, truffle oil and peperoncino), the tomato soup, all kinds of pasta, fish, salads and they also have these great baked mushrooms! Heaven!
It is always full, so make sure you phone them before you arrive.
Enjoy!

You can find a pretty unique menu here, slow cooked, pulled pork/turkey, bagels, and even their special recipe of hummus with grilled peppers and turkey.

I highly recommend the Pho - it's the best I've had in ages! The broth is rich and savory, and the noodles are cooked to perfection...

"Ota" Bucharest is one of those bars you learn about through word of mouth. Ota is many things, it's informal & underground and makes a mean Persian soup.

"Grand Cafe van Gogh" is one of my favorite places in the Old centre of Bucharest. Because of its mint tea and appeltart, it reminds me of Amsterdam...
