Close to Firhill Football Stadium, Glasgow has a set of stairs which links the Forth and Clyde footpath to the main road, but to get down from the path you have more than one option.
I feel I must not be alone in that I once proposed as a lazy child that we should build less stairs, or at least pop a slide down next to them so that you can have some fun on the way down... If you are like me, then you will love this installation where instead of opting to take the stairs, you can slide your way down a height not to be sniffed at, which amounts to three flights of stairs!
Alongside the obvious attraction of the spot to the inner child in everyone, atop the stairs is a fairly breathtaking view of Glasgow University as well as the whole canal side to explore.
