When you're just enjoying the ride and filling up with inspiration in the streets of Istanbul, number of unread emails pops into your head and out of nowhere, your mind starts to think about your long to-do list and so on... Keep calm and read on. I'm gonna share my big secret with you: Corinne Brasserie.
Take your notebook or smartphone and hit the road to Çukurcuma, Beyoglu. Corinne is my favorite work & chill shelter in the city. It is not just a good place to have a work break, but also to have a classy and sophisticated drink. Its cool jazz playlist and dim light ambience will make you feel cozy and peaceful like home.
Have a seat facing the door and watch the passers-by while enjoying your drink. The cafe belongs to the art & boutique hotel of the same name built in a neoclassical Ottoman style. If you stay after 6:00 pm during winter, follow the smell of burnt wood inside and see if you are lucky enough to find a lit fireplace there. Have fun!
