Dream about a place where everything on the menu -without exception- is absolutely yummy! Havan'dan by Beff Gourmet is the place where yours dreams can come true. It is an excellent lunch place in Emirgan, Istanbul.
It's not a big place, which is its only disadvantage. Sometimes I have to wait for a table, but then everything I taste make me forget about that. They have a wide variety of legendary Turkish meals made with fresh ingredients, and they're all very exciting combinations. There's a different menu everyday, so whenever I go I try to taste something different. In wintertime, the pumpkin soup would be a good option for a starter.
They also make miracles with vegetables and olive oil. For example, the Mücver in the oven is one of my favorites. Every Saturday is special burger day, so if you are lucky enough, get ready for a mind-blowing burger experience: the rib burger!!!
For dessert I am constantly torn between the pavlova and cinnamon rolls, so I always order both of them so as not to upset myself.
They don't accept reservations, so try to be there a little before lunch hour.
