People visiting İstanbul usually have problem deciding on what to get their friends back home. The city offers a huge variety according to your budget and pleasure. I usually suggest people to take back home something different than the normal stuff.
One of my favourite gifts to suggest is the letter opener or the paper cutter. As documented in the photo it is very delicate, lovely coloured, attentive design and elegant. It's like an oriental touch to a Western gadget.
These can be find very easily in the Grand Bazaar. Don't you dare forget to bargain.
