If you love scent (or like me you're low-key obsessed) Le Secret du Marias is one of Madrid's fantastic perfumeries where you can pick up something niche and wonderful for your collection.
It is such a gorgeous shop - jewel-like bottles line the walls and of course it smells amazing. The staff are so knowledgeable and helpful - they really enhance the experience and help you find the perfect perfume. I love the way all the testers are out even for the pricier products - you have to try before you buy after all!
As well as all the famous niche brands, they have a good selection of "made in Spain" fragrances, such as AromAtom, Carner Barcelona, Genyum or Hierbas de Ibiza, this last one quite accessible at 41 euros for 100ml of cologne - a perfect souvenir.
They also have 2 hour perfume creation workshops, where you will learn about how fragrances are made and then have the chance to make your own to take home. Another good way to experiment are the discovery sets - for example, the Essential Parfums set of 10 samples is 24 euros.
Happy sniffing!
