Don Giovanni is popular throughout all Spain. Chef Andrea Tumbarello is famous in this country -- he also appeared in Masterchef in Spain. Don Giovanni is a high-level Italian restaurant which differs from many others. Its chef has a predominant presence, and like old school chefs, frequently walks around the tables engaging with the clients.
Its extensive menu will make you salivate like Pavlov's dog. Personally it's hard to choose a dish, as every single meal looks exquisite. Even the plain carbonara is spectacular! I guarantee it! There is a broad selection of carefully handcrafted stuffed pasta. Their speciality is truffle -- Don Giovanni's nickname is Don Truffle. If you want to try this delicatessen, prepare your wallet, as these dishes are expensive, though highly exclusive. If not, stick to the menu and you won't be disappointed.
A funny aspect is how Don Giovanni is omnipresent throughout the whole restaurant. It seems like a museum for the chef. His logo and name are engraved on each plate, glass, wine, cutlery... and to sum it up, the walls also have articles about him and photo projections of the chef. It might seem a bit narcissistic of Don Giovanni, although it's done in a friendly way.
The only negative would be the location and the restaurant -- he could maybe change or upgrade its decoration.
The staff is really dedicated to you as also the chef who greets almost all tables. A mangiare!
