La Antojá wine bar is one of my favourite finds in Madrid. Spain has so many great wines and this is just the place to discover them. La Antojá has an amazing wine list, which the very knowledgeable owner will expertly guide you through. There is wine for all palates and all pockets and unusually, they serve some more pricy wines by the glass and will happily let you try before you buy - again, this is not typical.
The owner speaks English and is there in person every week night, playing 80s music and preparing the delicious little tapas that accompany each glass, ready to chat and share her expertise. This place is quite tiny, so I don’t recommend going with a big group - it’s the perfect size for 2 or 3 wine-loving pals to meet and have a great time or for a romantic weeknight date with a special someone. I go there to catch up with special friends and savour a few delicious vinitos.
