Viva Chapata is a charming vegan restaurant nestled in the vibrant neighbourhood of Lavapiés. Its entire menu is plant-based, offering a delicious variety of creative, satisfying dishes that prove just how flavorful vegan cooking can be.
From fully loaded nachos to their pinchos de tortilla (yes, completely vegan), everything here is crafted with care and plenty of flavour. They even make their own vegan burrata! As well as their homemade desserts, reason enough to visit on their own.
Beyond the food, Viva Chapata stands out for its warm, easygoing atmosphere. It’s bright and inviting, with a genuinely friendly vibe that makes you feel instantly at home. Whether you’re here for a casual meal or a long chat with friends over drinks, it’s the kind of place that’s hard to leave in a hurry.
For me, it’s one of those Lavapiés gems that captures the neighbourhood’s spirit perfectly and a nice plant-based restaurant where you can try traditional Spanish dishes.
