Located in the middle of Rosemont, this small place has a lot to offer, and stopping by while exploring this part of Montreal is always a good idea. It's not often that you can search vinyl, have a coffee, have brunch or eat a delicious burger - one of my top two, with the other being Nouveau Palais - while someone is DJ'ing for you.
The restaurant part is called ma mere en feu, and the coffee/music shop is Le 180gr. Actually, when ordering food, you have to pay in the vinyl shop and you may have the impression a hole was pierced between the two spaces as there are two doors from the street to enter each side.
I mentioned burgers, but it's far from being the only dish they have on offer. The choice of courses varies depending on the season and gives you a good chance of trying seafood. The music shop side of it all is small, but the quality and atmosphere are always there.
