Where do I start? With the most important thing first: this is where I have had some of the best coffee ever.
What else? The place is a Third Wave coffee shop like they have been popular in for example the US and Scandinavia for years, meaning that coffee is considered a speciality like wine.
That's why at MvM a lot of attention has been paid to the choice of coffees (Arabica only): where they come from, how they have been farmed and picked and how to influence their flavours by roasting and preparing them differently in the shop. For your classic Espresso, Flat White or Americano a non-automatic machine is used and I love the fact you can also get filter coffee prepared as a classic pourover, with a siphon or an AeroPress.
But also tea lovers won't be disappointed as there is a fine selection of organic teas as well: you can pick between Sencha and Matcha, Oolong, Darjeeling and Rooibos. Foodwise you'll find the typical coffee and tea companions on the menu such as cakes, banana bread and muesli etc.
The owner's knack for tasty things and attention to detail is also expressed by the interiors which are clean without being sterile and combine white Parisian metro tiling and black pendant lighting with warm materials such as wood and felt.
The coffee is a tad more expensive than anywhere else but I think in that case it is definitely worth spending the extra penny, see first line.
