It might come as a surprise to some, but the Czech Republic has a long-standing tradition in jazz. Even though Jazz Dock might not be the oldest one in Prague, it is certainly one of the most popular among music lovers.
And reasons for that abound: daily concerts with prestigious local and international bands, a lovely terrace for drinks on hot summer days, all that right by the Vltava riverbank.
My favorite thing about this place is that it is just big enough to accommodate a large number of jazz fans, but also just cozy and intimate enough that you can feel close to the musicians. I even got the chance to chat and have beer with some of the performers after a concert once!
