Located in the centre of Mother Theresa boulevard, this is one of the oldest cinema in the city, and for a long time it used to be the only one It is small, cheap and very cosy. Unfortunately, its popularity has been overshadowed by the recent opening of an international chain cinema in Prishtina. Not all is bad, since most of the time the cinema will be empty and you can have it all to yourself, just for the price of a ticket. It is a great feeling.
The films screened are mostly blockbuster and local independent films. Occasionally they host short film events or even international film festivals. You will always know if there is something happening, since it is located in the middle of the city and it is pretty hard to miss.
This is not a vintage cinema that has a lot of history, nor a cinema that provides the most modern cinematic technology; this is a pretty modest cinema, but it has been the only cinema after the war that has connected people in Prishtina with the outside world of cinematography, whilst also promoting the Albanian film industry.
