Have you ever wished you could be a child again, if only for a day? I have good news for you: the Museum of Childhood is an embodiment of that warm, fuzzy feeling most of us get thinking about our early youth.
Opened by the same group of enthusiasts who created the Peek&Poke computer heaven, the Museum of Childhood is a collection of toys you might have played with back in the day… or your parents, or your grandparents. There are plushies, dolls and toy cars, Lego sets, vintage train sets, old school board games you can play, and no matter how old you are, you’re granted to find a token of your childhood somewhere in the room.
Packed with games and bursting with color and good vibes, it’s the definition of a happy place. The couple of times I’ve visited, I cannot recall a single person in the same room who wasn’t flashing a big bright smile. Get ready to say ‘I remember this!’ many, many times.
