When I find myself not far from the Gorkovskaya metro station, I always pop up into "Bolshe Cofe" ("More coffee") cafe in Alexandrovsky park. It is definitely my favourite coffee place in the city. First of all it is located in a real grotto, looking out through the small windows you feel like you are in a castle or fortress or something else from a fairy tale.
Secondly it is very cozy inside with a completely homey atmosphere, the drinks are served in a different-style cups, which the owners have brought from all over the world. And last but not least - the coffee is of superior quality, roast and mix!
Thirdly there is a variety of different types of coffee, everything at a very democratic price level. If I am not in a coffee mood I enjoy a cup of cacao with marshmallows or a pot of hot chocolate. There are also some desserts, sandwiches and other snacks, all very tasty.
