Rockets & Bishops Saint Petersburg – Get some blessing and fuel

Craft beer culture has settled in Saint Petersburg. I have already mentioned many bars and places where you can try cool craft beer from famous Saint Petersburg brewery AF Brew. Now it is time to try some stuff from another popular brewery - ‘Bakunin’. The bar is located in an interesting neighborhood - it is the city center, but in 2005 it was the only party district in Saint Petersburg and it is still filled with great places but let's focus - Rockets and Bishops is what's worth visiting.    

With about 20 taps with local and imported craft beers, it can take you some time to choose. My personal favourite is Red Maniac - a double chill IPA. It is really spicy. Have you ever tried spicy beer? You definitely should.  By the way there is a special cold room behind the bar counter with a rich beer collection - the bar's special pride.

The food is a special topic. The place serves burgers, but they are not usual and boring. How about salami burger or blue cheese French burger or borschburger (burger with beets named after the Russian beet soup)?

It may not be my favorite craft bar in Saint Petersburg but the beer is great, the food is great and it always come with Brewdog (UK show about brewing) on a big screen.  Worth a shot.
