If you like buying books and all that great stuff like notebooks, pens… office materials in general that only a bookstore can offer, you must check the biggest bookstore chain Svjetlostkomerc.

You can find almost all you want here, for yourself or for a gift.

A lot has changed since I was a little girl, being special, standing on the other side of the store sales counter, saying hi to the costumers, choosing all my eyes can see and putting it on my aunt’s account, that worked there for so many years. Well, those are the privileges of kids that are crazy for sparkly pens, personal notebooks and all kinds of books in general :- ).

The Teddy-bear grand book and a cassette player that played English lessons in ’87 was so cool – it made me fluent from such an early age…

Even as a grown-up, I still have those shiny kid’s eyes when glancing at the shelves and sorting out what to buy, even when I want to have it all – like every kid :- ). I enjoy the smell of new books, looking at shiny pens, erasers, glues, stickers, pencil boxes, backpacks…

I use crazy pens, Post-it stickers in the shape of hearts and crazy color markers – even at work.

I wish kids nowadays enjoyed books and writing as much as I did back then.

This bookstore surely lives up to its name Svjetlost – “the light”; it’s been the light of my childhood knowledge and is the colour of my work attitude today.
