King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz Alsaud Cultural Center consists of a mosque, sports and educational center and a market. The mosque has a tall minaret and huge indoor capacity of 1500 people, making it not just the biggest mosque in Bosnia, but entire Balkans as well.
King Fahd Cultural Center is not just a place for prayer. It also contains a sports and education center and a market. The educational center offers free education; English Arabic and Bosnian lessons, IT education, calligraphy etc... There are also art exhibits. Sports center is the place where teams can play volleyball, basketball or go to the gym for free. What I like the most about this place aside from the free education is the market that sells interesting items like books, clothing, ornaments, souvenirs etc... This market is famous for one seller who used to offer his goods for free to people who could not afford them. Fun fact: King Fahd Cultural Center is built inside the Olympic village so whenever I visit it, it takes me back to the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Olympics.
The best way to reach this mosque is by taking the trolleybus, but it is not that far away from the tram station either. It is actually located in one of the busiest and populated areas in Sarajevo.
