Great food, low prices and very comfortable. Located away from the rush hour, yet conveniently placed just about 20 minutes away from the city center, Mlecen Bar is a great place to eat, especially if you're on a budget.
Try their amazing coffees that come with the tastiest treats, or go for a salad, a menu item that has been brought to a complete different level at this place.
The staff is polite and helpful, the clientèle is local and regular, which means that it can be a great experience for you, if you want to escape the 'tourist train' and get a glimpse into the lunch routine of people who live nearby.
It's on the west side of a small square, with cafes close to it, so if you decide to eat there and take your coffee-drinking appetite elsewhere, you have several choices. However, I would recommend to choose whatever sounds interesting from the menu, and complete the whole experience with a nice cocktail - they make some amazing ones of those too!
