This restaurant is well known throughout Glasgow. There are a few Thai restaurants with good reputations but I have to stand by my lovely experiences at Thairiffic. It is hidden on a corner of Sauchiehall Street so you really need to know where you are going.
When you arrive upstairs, you are greeted by a friendly member of staff who will take you to your seat. The decor is very appealing, minimal yet artistic. I am new to Thai food so the waiter talked us through recommendations based on what we liked, it was very helpful and helps with the anxiety you get when trying a new cuisine! Be wary of how spicy the dishes are - it made me rethink how much heat I can handle!
After 3 courses and a bottle of wine (to share of course) we felt very satisfied, without that horrible bloated and lethargic feeling you can sometimes get after too much food.
We could not fault the service or the food, although it is a little pricier than a few places, it's definitely worth it. You can visit with anyone but I felt that the atmosphere was very well suited for couples in particular.
