Recently I bought a Museumkaart, which is a card with which you can visit a lot of museums in the Netherlands for free and now it is my goal to visit all the museums in The Hague.
So that is how I discovered the gallerij Prins Willem V. It is owned by the Mauritshuis (where you can see the girl with the pearl earring and other art from the 17th century) and this is reflected by the art that is displayed, as the majority is from the 17th century. It is a large room, and all of the walls are covered in paintings. The atmosphere is magical, as it truly feels like a hidden gem, where it is quiet and it makes you want to wander, both through the room and your mind.
Fun fact, this museum opened in 1774 and is, therefore, the oldest museum in The Netherlands.
I will 100% return to this place as I love the room and the art.
