Falafel croquettes, fried kibbe, muhammara cream, tabbule? Or maybe you want to try everything mixed in one “bomba” shawarma? I say have it all because it's all delicious.
Hommus is one of my favourites because of what they specialize in: Syrian/Lebanese cuisine. Go for the fattoush salad, the babaganoush cream and the yabraks. Let the staff guide you if you need assistance, they are very nice and knowledgeable. If you want to share or cannot decide what to order, choose one of the familiar dishes and have skewers, kibbe, falafel, yabrak, tabbule and 3 creams (hommus, babaganoush and red pepper) together in one plate as shown in the picture.
The restaurant is also perfectly located in the Ciudad Vieja (Old Town) district, so have a nice walk around the area and make reservations if you have to. The place has a comfortable terrace, which is the perfect option even for colder nights. Always make room for dessert, and always choose pistachio nests. OK, not really. You can try baklava with pistachios, too.
I have celebrated birthdays, meetings with friends, large gatherings and cosy date nights at Hommus. It is the perfect spot for everything, trust me.
