Summers in Valencia are HOT—I'm not exaggerating. The high temperatures are one thing, but the humidity really gets to you. While Valencia is famous for its beaches, sometimes you just don't want to deal with the sand that gets everywhere.
From early June to September, the Benicalap Park pool is the perfect place to escape the Valencian heat. It's great for families, featuring a small pool for the little ones and a larger one for bigger kids and adults.
Entry costs €3.35 for those 16 and older, and €1.70 for kids. You can either bring your own blanket and food for a picnic-style experience or rent a cabana for the day—€20 on weekdays and €25 on weekends. If you’d rather not pack snacks, there's a bar on-site where you can grab lunch and drinks. Just be sure to arrive early, as the pool fills up quickly, especially during the peak heat of July and August!
