Even before knowing that a Valencia Spotted by Locals Guide was a reality, I knew this pizza place was going to be one of my spots. And finally, here we are!
Good quality-made in the moment pizza is the only thing you can buy at this joint. Have a slice or a big pizza, and there are many options to choose from, including my favourite: margarita with jam and mushrooms. Tony, the cool owner of Al Trancio, is an Italian who makes the yummiest pizza ever. If the one you want has not already been made, he will make it right before you. And it won't even take too long, it has never taken more than 15 minutes to get a fresh pizza on the go. There is one thing to remember about this place: there are only a few seats inside and one table outside. Most people take them to go, and you should too.
It opens every day from 19:00 to 23:00, and you can only pay cash. This is an over-the-counter space with an oven and a very skilled Italian cook having fun while making pizza. But believe me when I say this: it is the best one you will ever have in Valencia.

One of my fondest memories of the city during summer is sitting by their giant-red-plastic cone and cooling down while having a delicious treat.
