This quintessential Vancouver coffee shop is a must-visit when you’re in the Kitsilano neighbourhood. 49th Parallel’s cozy space is flooded with natural light and has a glass-covered patio that’s a great place to hang out year round. I’ve been here several times with my friends and the peaceful atmosphere and delicious doughnuts always keep me coming back.
49th Parallel makes their infamous Lucky’s Doughnuts in house with a variety of flavours you’re bound to love. You’ll find their signature blue cups pop up in the Instagram feeds of many Vancouver locals, mine included. My go-to order is a French Cruller with an almond milk hot chocolate: you’re welcome.
What makes this place even more special is that it’s located right in the heart of the Kitsilano area: steps away from great shopping and endless food options. I’d recommend stopping by to take a break from exploring the city. It’s well worth it.
