I affectionately call Cineplex Cinemas Marine Gateway the date night movie theater. This isn't just showing up for a movie and grabbing a drink and popcorn, this is so much more. Firstly, you have to be 18+ years of age to get in, seats are reserved, so you don't have to wait in any lines and they have seat service before the movie starts for anything on their menu and bar.
The chairs recline and are very comfortable and they all come with a small table to set your food on. There is a ton of space to walk down aisles, no tripping over our neighbour's feet and there is enough elbow room to make it feel like you're not sitting on top of each other. Plus if you are on a date the seats are sectioned like love seats and you can flip the arm rest between you and your significant other.
I would also note that coming early and taking a glass of wine on the patio (weather permitting) is really fabulous as is having dinner beforehand in the lounge.
