Truth be told, working remotely doesn't mean anywhere will do. While settling into a trendy coffee shop may seem doable, often the noise, internet quality, or overall distraction of the people coming and going make it difficult to focus. That's where Makeshift Spaces comes in. It is the perfect place for out-of-towners to conduct their business.
Located in East Van, Makeshift Spaces is beautifully decorated and fully equipped with sit-stand desks, large conference rooms, several private meeting rooms, a full kitchen and lockers... All that with a view of the North Shore that will blow your mind! You'll also have the opportunity to connect with other local professionals, including the owner, the lovely Monique Cherrie. She's there to guarantee you the best workday (week or month) away from home ever.
The renovated space is centered around a lovely plant wall that blends so well with the view, you'll wish Makeshift Spaces was your full-time office. Their outdoor patios are also up for grabs, a great option on those gorgeous summer days. I simply cannot recommend it enough.
Finally, Makeshift Spaces is LITERALLY steps away from Strathcona Brewing Company, so your happy hour is less than a minute away. Does this not sound like the ideal mix of work and vacation?
