I enjoy going to English Bay a lot and I often wander around on my way there or back. That's how I found The Quick Nickel!
It is conveniently situated on the corner of Davie and Denman Street. Curious from what I saw in the window, I went inside. The staff was welcoming and chatty. I found some everyday clothing brands that I like, all on sale, probably from last season. There's also a rack with additional discounts on the sale prices. I love that!
I am a little "savvy" when it comes to fashion and clothing. I rarely buy brand new or full price clothes because I know how lucky I am to have as much as I do. I, therefore, love stores like this, with brands that I recognize from the mall (Vero Moda, Only or Jacqueline De Yong for example) with a good price. I don't feel as guilty spoiling myself when heading to the beach, especially when I can find some steals around $20 CAD!
I talk a lot about myself and women fashion, but they also have a men options (Jack & Jones and Only and Sons, for example) at this little place. And swimsuits! And tuques! And hats! And scarves!
