Time to laugh with top comedians from Vancouver and all over the world. Yuk Yuk’s has been my favourite place to have a beer and a good laugh after a day of hard work in my office (yep!) or a rainy weekend when I’m not exhausted hiking.
The venue is not too big or too small. Just the right size to be intimate. You can sit close to the stage and get picked on, or be safe and sit in the shadows (my option).
This place is a quick sky train ride (10 minutes) from downtown. The neighborhood is really charming. If you walk down Cambie street (away from the Broadway City Hall Sky train station), there are many food places to grab a drink or dinner after the show.
Wednesday nights are my favorite. It’s the Pro-Am night. It's a mix of professional and amateurs trying new jokes and old ones. It’s the cheapest night (7$), so you can’t go wrong.
