This entertainment hall in Vienna makes the dark colorful and promises a whole new minigolf experience. The Blacklite Arena offers not only blacklight minigolf but also other fun activities. However, getting all creative, painting yourself with black light reactive colors, and heading into the dark definitely is the highlight. Up to 18 holes and obstacles await you on the mini golf course, which is separated into several rooms with differing themes, each reflected by varying wall paintings and music.
Pro tip: Don't wear the all-time favorite piece from your closet, as the colors might stick around even after washing your outfit. For us, it didn't, but there's no guarantee. Or you skip the body painting - even though that's only half the fun, as it sets for memorable photos. In any case, they've got wet tissues for you to clean up before leaving the arena.
You might choose to go with a friend or your partner, but it's a great place for groups as well. I suggest going on a weekday, as these are less packed and cheaper. If the minigolf experience alone didn't satisfy your play instincts, you might want to add another round of Lazermaze, and Air Hockey, or try the numerous slot machines and three pinballs. There's a mission-impossible possibility your head will buzz in the end.
