I was, and still am, quite excited about having a farm shop like this one nearby. Dazu offers fine quality organic vegetables, dairy products and jars filled with surprises, reasonably priced and kind with your taste buds.
A great bunch of the things sold here come straight from the owners' fruit and vegetable farm in rural Burgenland. They even make their own honey! They also sell products from colleagues of their region. You’ll find a selection of international food gems on their shelves such as black caraway seeds or white raisins. If you have time to stick around a little longer you can pick one of their homemade cakes and round it up with an espresso.
Anyway, the main reason why you should dedicate an afternoon stroll here are their homemade delicacies: The chutneys, salsas, mustards and nectars they produce will likely round up any meal that comes onto your table. Their plum-flavoured ketchup will flatter your roast potatoes, the Monkey face chili paste will get your steak going, and the quince mustard salsa will do the rest, charming off whatever else there is to be found on your plate.
You might see what the spot's name aims at: pure and original mixtures, made with love, cheerfully rounding up your food. Good company does the trick.
