This is the best pizza place in D.C. You don’t have to take just my word for it: Bon Appetit named Timber Best Pizzeria 2017, and The Washington Post named it Best Pizza 2016.
Every single time I’ve gone to Timber, the food has been delicious and the service, fantastic.
Their restaurant is usually packed and it might take a bit of time to get a seat, but grab a drink at the bar and enjoy the liveliness of the crowd. My go-to order is the green monster pizza (pesto, kale, zucchini, feta, fresh mozzarella) and whatever seasonal salad they have.
They also have a mobile pizza truck that travels throughout the city. Check online to see where the truck will be while you’re in town.
If you’re a big lover of all things pizza, check out their online shop to buy some pizza-themed merch (pizza tee, pizza socks, pizza tote bag).
*Due to the pandemic, Timber is open only for takeout.
